Core Development is a global team of technologists who architect, build and maintain our world-class trading platform. From optimizing our core trading engine to building custom hardware, we leverage software & hardware engineering, data science and research, to deliver the infrastructure and tools that drive our trading and business needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Will be a part of a dynamic team working on developing and maintaining Jump's Algorithmic Trading Platform.
  • Have to be focused on C++ functionality, alongside our Quant/Traders who will also be hands on with C++.
  • Responsible for creating and optimizing scalable, multi-tiered applications and infrastructure.
  • Need to be able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed

Skills You'll Need:

  • Strong computer programming skills using C++ in a Linux environment
  • Strong understanding of computer systems e.g. operating systems, networks, performance optimization, etc
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and strong commitment to testing and quality assurance
  • Track record of independently tackling challenging technical problems as well as part of a team
  • Team player, with good communication, interpersonal skills and a humble and cooperative attitude
  • Ideally 4+ years in C++ development with experience in building algorithmic trading systems
  • Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field
  • Reliable and predictable availability
