Job Responsibilities:
Event Planning and End-to-End Execution
Independently conceptualize and lead offline marketing events based on the company's overseas strategy, brand positioning, and product promotion plans. This includes international industry exhibitions, partner salons, customer appreciation events, and government receptions.
Ability to accurately define event themes and formats based on objectives and client needs, aiming to enhance brand exposure, drive lead generation, and deepen customer relationships.
End-to-End Overseas Event Management
Manage the entire event lifecycle, including initial planning and proposal development, booth creativity and design coordination, vendor management, budget control, on-site execution, and post-event analysis and evaluation to ensure high-quality delivery.
Possess excellent resource integration and cross-departmental coordination skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders such as exhibition organizers, online social media platforms, industry media, design teams, and product teams. Maximize event reach and lead generation effectiveness; utilize data analysis and continuous optimization to improve lead quality and conversion rates, thereby strengthening brand influence.
Localization and Cross-Cultural Communication
Drive the localization of marketing content and materials to ensure messaging, visuals, and expression align with customer preferences across different countries and cultural backgrounds.
Data and Tool-Driven Optimization
Utilize AI tools and data analysis methods to continuously optimize the efficiency and quality of event planning, consistently improving lead quality and conversion rates.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.
- 3-8 years of experience in planning overseas events, with proven independent end-to-end project management experience for international exhibitions (e.g., CES, MWC, IFA). Experience working for Chinese companies expanding overseas or multinational corporations is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with and host senior-level overseas clients, government representatives, and channel partners.
Industry Knowledge & Skills
Deep understanding of the IoT industry and possess B2B marketing experience; background in Property Technology (PropTech), Smart Cities, or related fields is advantageous.
- Strong capability in managing the full lifecycle of offline events, encompassing planning, execution, budget control, and performance evaluation.
Ability to build event planning and management systems from the ground up, excelling at managing multiple projects efficiently within a startup environment.
Core Competencies
Skilled in coordinating internal and external resources to optimize costs and efficiency. Excellent cross-team collaboration skills, able to work closely with design, content, sales, and other teams to drive projects forward.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, capable of effective interaction with clients, teams, and government officials from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to make quick decisions, solve problems under pressure, and adapt to the dynamic demands of a startup team.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and exceptional project management skills. Proficient in using project management tools like Notion and Asana, and able to leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance content generation and analysis efficiency.
