CompanyQualcomm ChinaJob AreaEngineering Group, Engineering Group > Software EngineeringGeneral SummaryJob OverviewQualcomm's Mobile AI solutions power AI-centric ecosystems on Snapdragon chipsets, enabling intelligent on-device experiences and delivering value to ecosystem partners and customers.We are seeking talented and motivated Android Software Engineers to develop on-device AI solutions on Snapdragon platforms.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Android platform and be familiar with on-device AI technologies.Skills/ExperienceRich experiences on Android framework and service development, and strong understanding of Android system architecture and basic components.Strong programming skill in C++ and Java.Experience and good understanding with Android system debugging tools (e.g., logcat, systrace, perfetto, adb).Good understanding of software design principles and modular architectureGood English communication skills.Prefer: Experiences of on-device AI software solution and related technology on Android.Prefer: Familiar with on-device AI runtimes such as TensorFlow Lite, Qualcomm AI Stack.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Qualcomm Mobile AI software solutions on Android.Analyze and optimize AI software for performance, memory, and efficiency.Provide technical support for customer requirements.Document and share knowledge within the team.Education RequirementsBachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years' experience. Or Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years' experience.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
