As a key member of their leadership team, you'll bridge the worlds of traditional securities and emerging digital assets, building innovative products that redefine how customers invest and trade in the digital age.

The Role

You'll lead their securities and investment products division, holding regulatory accountability while driving commercial growth and product innovation. This isn't just about compliance and operations - it's about creating market-leading investment experiences that attract and retain sophisticated investors.

Your mandate:

  • Own the strategic direction and commercial performance of the investment products business
  • Build and scale digital-first trading platforms with exceptional user experiences
  • Develop product roadmaps across equities, funds, structured products and digital assets
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative pricing strategies and product positioning
  • Ensure robust governance frameworks while maintaining operational agility
  • Lead cross-functional teams across technology, risk, compliance and operations

Year 1: Established as the go-to leader for investment products. Platform enhancements delivered. Growth trajectory clearly defined and executing.

Year 2: Measurable increases in active investors, portfolio size and product revenue. New product categories launched. Team capabilities strengthened.

Year 3: Market-leading investment platform. Digital assets strategy fully integrated. Recognised thought leader in digital wealth management.

What You'll Bring

Regulatory Authority:

  • Current SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising in Securities) licenses
  • Experience as Executive Officer or Responsible Officer for regulated activities
  • Deep knowledge of SFO, HKMA guidelines and securities regulations

Commercial Excellence:

  • 12+ years in securities product development, ideally within retail/private banking or fintech
  • Proven track record managing P&L and driving business growth
  • Strong instincts for pricing strategy, competitive positioning and market opportunities

Digital Innovation:

  • Experience building or transforming digital investment platforms
  • Understanding of modern product development methodologies and UI/UX principles
  • Exposure to digital assets, crypto or emerging investment products (highly valued)

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Ability to influence across risk, compliance, legal and technology functions
  • Track record building and developing high-performing teams
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Personal Qualities:

  • Strategic thinker who can also execute tactically
  • Natural curiosity about emerging technologies and investment trends
  • Bias for action balanced with appropriate risk management
  • Excellent communicator in English and Cantonese
