Key Responsibilities
Pipeline bidding project tracker management
Support bidding projects through cost optimization of healthy BOM both from engineering and commercial ways. Work with product and sales team to drive more sales volume.
Pipeline infrastructure bidding projects, manage trackers of bidding projects, make out global strategies through data analysis for those common global customers of common material, product and solution.
Make analytical data management and regular reporting.
Cost & Risk Management
Drive cost-reduction initiatives through comparative and competitive sourcing, market test and intelligence, volume leverage, and TCO analysis.
Initiate innovative ways to establish more effective and efficient cost models including should cost analysis to help faster respond to bidding cost need.
Identify supply chain risks—including shortages, capacity constraints, and geopolitical risks—and develop mitigation strategies.
Develop and implement effective strategic sourcing & commodity management
Assist to develop and implement category strategies for data center hardware, facility component, equipment, power, cooling, IT system and supporting services
Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations to identify sourcing opportunities.
Own category roadmaps that align with engineering, capacity planning, and long-term business goals.
Supplier Management
Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers.
Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, commercial terms, warranties, and service-level agreements.
Conduct supplier performance management using KPIs based on technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery, lead time, and cost competitiveness.
Develop partnership and strategic relationship with the key global suppliers can help benefit from contract negotiation, pricing, lead-time, inventory and quality performance to help gain more competitive and comparative advantages
Procurement Execution
Manage RFPs/RFQs, supplier selection, and recommendation processes.
Review technical specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure procurement alignment with product and data center requirements.
Understand Vertiv's supply market vs. Vertiv's product and solution; Utilize expertise on the requirements expected to be procured for building data centers. Carry out timelines of procurement activities accordingly.
Material inflation planning & reporting, including risk mitigation and cost reduction strategies and planning towards achieving the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Identify opportunities for consolidating similar requirements across regions for leveraging economies of scale
Cross-Functional Collaboration
This role must function well as a member of a group of Vertiv global commodity managers, Vertiv division/Regional commodity managers, and other Vertiv functional groups to ensure that regional operations' requirements are being satisfied and product line needs are supported.
Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, operations, data center construction, logistics, and legal teams to support deployment timelines.
Participate in planning sessions to forecast demand, capacity planning, budget requirements, and infrastructure roadmaps for those key global projects.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, ideally with hardware or infrastructure categories.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier-relationship skills.
Experience managing complex, high-value procurement projects.
Strong analytical and presentation skills are key, along with ability to clearly communication.
Be dedicated, focused and reliable to jobs.
Preferred
Experience in data center operations, infrastructure related categories procurement, or high-tech manufacturing. Stay familiar and skilfully use procurement related processes/flows of Vertiv or similar companies.
Knowledge of global supply chain, logistics and global policy dynamics.
Certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP.
Familiarity with TCO modeling, should-cost analysis, and risk management frameworks.
