Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BSP Engineer to focus on the testing, analysis, and maintenance of Board Support Packages (BSP) for Qualcomm SoCs within our automotive SafePosix projects.

The role will involve in-depth testing of BSP drops, bug analysis, porting activities from QNX7 to QNX8, and releasing branch maintenance.

Strong analytical skills, technical proficiency in C/C++, and proficient communication skills in both Chinese and English (reading & writing) are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
Ø Test and validate BSP drops for Qualcomm SoCs, identifying and documenting defects.

Ø Analyze bugs reported from testing, reproduce issues, and assign them to the appropriate development teams.

Ø Perform porting activities from QNX7 to QNX8, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

Ø Maintain release branches, incorporating bug fixes and updates as needed.

Ø Contribute to the development and maintenance of device trees, bootloaders, and hardware abstraction layers.

Ø Debug and resolve issues related to hardware bring-up, kernel, and low-level drivers.

Ø Document BSP integration steps, configurations, and known issues.

Ø Support functional safety (ISO and security requirements in BSP deliverables.

Required Skills:
Ø Strong experience with embedded systems and low-level software development (C/C++).

Ø Hands-on experience with Qualcomm SoCs and BSP development.

Ø Deep understanding of bootloaders, kernel bring-up, and device tree configuration.

Ø Experience with hardware interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, etc.

Ø Proficient in debugging tools (JTAG, serial console, trace tools, Wireshark, dlt).

Ø Experience with version control (git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Ø Configure/tailor the BSP to the project context

Ø Set-up of partitions, configure the Startup, activate security aspects

Ø Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ø Good Chinese language skills and proficient English reading, writing and speaking skills.
