Alluma is a provider-led, provider-focused Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) developed in collaboration with Vizient and Mayo Clinic. We offer a high-touch, high-value approach to PBM services, emphasizing transparency, formulary flexibility, and aligned incentives to optimize cost savings and revenue returns for our clients. Our mission is to empower health systems and self-insured organizations with innovative, evidence-based pharmacy benefit solutions.
Summary:
In this role you will, play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence. You will focus on driving new business development, fostering strategic relationships with healthcare brokerage and consulting firms, and selling our PBM solutions into hospital and health system HR leaders.
Responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and close new PBM sales opportunities within health systems, self-insured employers, and large healthcare organizations.
Leverage existing relationships and industry expertise to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to effectively communicate Alluma's unique value proposition to potential clients.
Present and articulate Alluma's PBM solutions to HR leaders, benefits decision-makers, and C-suite executives within hospitals, health systems and self-insured employers.
Assist in contract negotiations and close deals that align with Alluma's revenue and growth objectives.
Represent Alluma at key industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, including clinical, analytics, underwriting and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
7 or more years of relevant work experience required.
Strong background in selling PBM or benefits solutions to hospitals and health system HR leaders highly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, high-value deals.
Deep understanding of the PBM market, including formulary management, rebate structures, and transparent pricing models.
Ability to craft and execute innovative sales strategies that align with market trends and client needs.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
