Job Description
The Surgery Senior Systems Engineer will work with a cross-functional program team to deliver surgical imaging products (C-arm X-ray products, etc.) for the global market. This role will be responsible for system level product definition and design.

Roles & Responsibility
Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Working across functions and team boundaries to define, design, and implement the next generation of products
• Providing domain expertise to serve as the main integrator between the hardware and software functions to deliver high quality systems
• Working with customers, marketing and field personnel to refine requirements which can be follow by the engineering teams
• Developing methods to quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on system feature and performance.
• Delivering and incorporating feedback results into new hardware, software, and service specifications

Quality Specific Goals

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Qualification/ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above major in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline
• Bachelor 6+ years, Master 4+ years working experience in R&D.
• Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design, and good technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Image Processing, Software, etc.)
• Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems
• Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Desired Characteristics

• Product design experience in medical devices, especially in Mobile C-arm, X-ray, CT, DSA product
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, global project experience will be plus
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
• Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
