Assistant Director, Project Management

Key Accountabilities
- Act as the primary liaison and driving force behind the project committee under the leadership of the Chief Operating Officer.
- Translate the programme vision into actionable plans across marketing, operations, guest experience, and cultural initiatives.
- Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for all related projects and programmes.
- Oversee the development of campaigns, events, and partnerships that reinforce The Peninsula's global leadership in luxury hospitality.
- Monitor project budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Facilitate bi-monthly Steering Committee meetings and ensure accurate documentation of decisions and actions.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with brand values and programme objectives.
- Prepare monthly updates for executive leadership and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership.
General requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in project management within luxury hospitality, luxury retail, or large-scale brand initiatives, either in-house or consultancy capacity.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Passion for luxury hospitality and cultural heritage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
