Our Client is a PRC based company in the medical industry. A need has arisen to hire a Talent Acquisition Manager to be based in Shenzhen HQ to lead the team for the full Talent Acquisition function.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy and forecasting:

  • Analyze and forecast the company's long-term and short-term staffing needs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans that align with business goals.

Recruitment and hiring:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to making offers.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, and social media.
  • Conduct interviews, screenings, and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and conduct interviews.
  • Manage candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Oversee pre-employment activities like background checks.

Employer branding and retention:

  • Lead employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and build a positive company image.
  • Implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires.

Team and process management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters.
  • Optimize recruitment processes and tools.
  • Manage recruitment budgets and external vendor relationships, such as recruitment agencies.
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

To qualify, the candidate should possess at least 10 years of experience in the talent acquisition area (in house or external) with preference from PRC based companies. Strong business sense with a view of the market situation is required to provide insights for the business leaders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are expected with full fluency in Mandarin and English.
