  SUMMARY DESCRIPTION State the overall function or purpose of the job.  This position will be responsible for managing within the China all business operations, marketing and promotional activities, stakeholders management, healthcare financing and health policies in close collaboration with the Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Legal and Compliance, Finance and Regulatory Affairs.    RESPONSIBILITIES List the major responsibilities of the job. ü  Forecasting and setting commercial objectives for BioMarin portfolio in China in collaboration with Marketing and Medical colleagues, and communicating it with our partner for proper execution. ü  Managing and leading our partner in China through ensuring partner commercial team readiness, cohesion, and executing local plans for each therapeutic area to achieve commercial goals. ü  Sales Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, including revenue, and product performance. Identifying areas of improvement, formulating corrective actions, and ensure proper executing to ensure the achievement of sales targets and organizational objectives. ü  Managing Tender planning, preparation, and communication with stakeholders to secure tender awarding with forecasted quantities. ü  Aligning with BioMarin Supply Chain team as well as partner teams to secure the smooth delivery of shipments for all sectors on time. ü  Ensuring smooth access for BioMarin portfolio in China sectors through planning, supporting the partner local team in execution, and negotiating with stakeholders. ü  Communicating with the International Market Access team, as well as Commercial, Marketing, and MAF colleagues in AMEA and International region to share experience and tailor agreed Company strategies in China. ü  Establishing clear, measurable sales objectives for partner teams. ü  Supporting partner teams and driving performance with motivational strategies to exceed sales targets. ü  Identifying and exploring new business opportunities within the rare diseases market. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, buyers, and authorities, to expand our business. ü  Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines. Fostering a culture of ethical conduct and ensuring that the sales teams in our partner side operate within legal and regulatory boundaries which match our company's code of ethics. ü  Working alongside my direct manager with the MOH Drug Policy and Regulation of Therapeutic Affairs to reach satisfactory agreements with authorities. ü  Coordinating and collaborating with AMEA and International cross-functional team, leading the work group and communicate alongside my direct manager with the authorities to develop the Economic Participation Proposal requested by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority in China.   SCOPE Quantify the scope or impact of the job in terms of revenue, expenses, capital investment, headcount, etc. Responsible for ensuring business objectives are met in China.   EDUCATION State both the minimum and the preferred educational attainment (or equivalent experience), and describe essential and desired subject matter, certifications, special training, etc. ü  Bachelor's Degree in business administration or similar. ü  Fluent English. ü  Knowledge of local reimbursement and pricing policies is be an asset ü  Mandatory experience with High Cost medicines/treatments. ü  Knowledge in Orphan Diseases is desirable. ü  Significant understanding of the health care system in the respective country is a must ü  Well versed in developing and executing business plans ü  Ability to react to rapidly changing priorities and effectively manage changes to business strategy and execution plans ü  Adept conceptual thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills ü  Able to lead initiatives, advocate for programs and the ability to present compelling supporting facts and back-up data ü  Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written (both, Arabic and English), at all levels ü  The ability and desire to interact with multidisciplinary teams ü  Travel as necessary to carry-out country-specific initiatives ü  Manage and adhere to all corporate policies and practices      EXPERIENCE State both the minimum and the preferred number of years of relevant experience, and describe the essential functions of the job. ü  Minimum of 5 years management experience in the pharmaceutical market in addition to operations experience ü  Minimum of 8 years experience in marketing and sales with proven success at advancing levels of responsibility.      EQUIPMENT Describe any equipment required to perform the job.
