Your Impact as Newbuilding Project Manager

We're seeking a passionate and experienced overseas Newbuilding Project Manager to join our team in Yangzhou, China. This exciting 3-years assignment offers you the chance to make your mark leading a series of PTCP vessels.

Area China North is part of DNV's Maritime Region Greater China, where approximately 170 talented professionals across 4 stations work together to deliver world-class ship classification and certification services. 

As our Newbuilding Project Manager, you'll drive excellence through the entire project lifecycle. You'll be the face of DNV, building relationships with shipyard teams and owners while coordinating expert teams to ensure world-class delivery.

Your Opportunity to Learn and Grow

This role places you at the center of complex maritime projects, where you'll:

  • Lead end-to-end newbuilding projects from initial sales handover through successful completion
  • Serve as the primary liaison between shipbuilders, owners' representatives, and internal DNV teams
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Develop your leadership capabilities while managing diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Expand your global perspective through immersion in Chinese maritime industry and culture
