Repair Development Specialist

Ental has been retained to support an established aerospace engineering organisation who is looking to appoint a team of MRO technicians, engineers and managers to be part of its pioneering engine component repair operations in Guangzhou. This role is well-suited for senior professionals with deep technical expertise in aerospace engine component repair.

Your New Role

As the specialist, you will be responsible for the full operational performance of the repair line. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations to ensure production continuity and efficiency
  • Managing repair workflows and maintaining compliance with customer turnaround time (TAT) and quality requirements
  • Providing operational insights to support annual budget planning (opex and capex)
  • Implementing and monitoring the unit's expenditure budgets to ensure effective resource utilisation
  • Leading, guiding, and developing a team of direct reports, including problem-solving and approval of HR-related matters
  • Ensuring all processes and repair activities meet regulatory and safety standards

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace/Aviation Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in aircraft, engine component, or parts repair
  • Strong technical knowledge of CFM56-5/7 engine core component repairs (vanes, blades, CC, etc.)
  • Prior experience in reputable engine component repair facilities (e.g., leading global MRO/repair shops)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to operate in an English-speaking technical environment
