We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist. 

Business: CIB HBEU Technology 

Principal responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining KDB microservice based applications across multiple locations in a Hybrid (Colo-Campus-Cloud) model across the globe.
  • Creating and updating automated reporting based off of KDB stored data.
  • Working with quant team to develop and implement new models for algo trading as well as reports based off trading activity.
  • Troubleshoot issues faced by quants/traders in a real time trading environment.
  • The build and maintenance of tools, to industrialize support of a cutting edge in-house trading platform.
  Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
  • Prior programming experience.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • SQL experience.
  • Experience with kdb+q and tick architecture.
  • Experience with qspec testing framework.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of market data, trade data.
  • Experience with Refinitiv market data.
  • Experience with esigning and developing complex micro services based on business requirements with little to no external guidance.
