Senior Project Quantity Surveyor

Hong Kong, China Gammon Construction Limited Full time HK$1,200,000 - HK$2,400,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and costing;
  • Prepare and review tender documents, SOR, BOQ, and cost estimates;
  • Evaluate variations and manage change control processes;
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with clients and subcontractors;
  • Conduct cost analysis, budgeting control, measurement and collation of records at our construction sites.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction preferably with MRICS or HKIS professional qualification;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to large-scale or high-profile projects
  • a proven track record of managing cost control, contract administration, and final accounts on complex projects
  • strong command of contract forms commonly use in building projects in Hong Kong (e.g., HKIA standard form of building contracts, GCC Forms of contract, or similar forms commonly used by private developers in Hong Kong)
  • proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to present and justify recommendations with clarity and confidence
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
