Job Summary:

We are seeking knowledgeable and experienced Amadeus Reservations Trainers to deliver high-quality training programs for travel industry professionals (Partners / Customers for Amadeus). The trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and conducting face to face instructor led training sessions at multiple partner / customer centres based within the hiring region, on the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS), focusing on airline reservations, ticketing, and other travel-related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging and informative Amadeus GDS training sessions for travel agents, airline staff, and corporate travel managers.
  • Develop and customize training materials, presentations, and user guides to suit different learning levels.
  • Provide hands-on training on flight bookings, ticketing, fare calculations, PNR management, hotel/car reservations, and other Amadeus functions.
  • Stay updated on the latest Amadeus features, industry regulations, and best practices to enhance training quality.
  • Assess and evaluate participants' performance and progress through tests, exercises, and real-time scenarios.
  • Offer post-training support and guidance to trainees for continuous learning and skill improvement.
  • Coordinate with travel agencies, airlines, and educational institutions to promote and schedule training sessions.
  • Maintain records of training activities and prepare reports on training effectiveness and participant feedback.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Amadeus GDS with strong knowledge of reservations, ticketing, and fare management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a GDS Trainer
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage learners.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and clear manner.
  • Familiarity with adult learning techniques and instructional design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and e-learning tools.
  • Amadeus certification or relevant industry training certification is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and the regional language of the hiring location.
  • Onsite training at partner / customer location which may involve travel within the hiring region


Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience working with Amadeus GDS.
  • 2+ years of experience in delivering Amadeus GDS Training (mandatory).
