We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

The job holder will have to perform the following duties in WPB STAFF CHANNELS & SELF SERVICE application:

1. Work closely ff Channels & Self Servicewith distribution business to define suitable solution that fulfil their strategy and needs.

2. Lead the delivery of the architecture solution to business, and locate ways to reduce costs in IT.
3. Work closely with automation engineer to design an automated solution.
4. Applied innovation to facilitate smart business operations.
5. Ensure the platforms meet all Non- Functional Requirement
6. Guide developer on the engineering approaches to the solution.
7. Converge existing platforms into the new architecture
8. Work closely with Global infrastructure and engineering team to build the solution

Requirements

1. Strong analytical, design, development and problem solving skills;
2. Excellent team leader with ability to work under pressure with different stakeholders
3. Experience of working in a DevOps focused environment and working in an Agile Team
4. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
5. Great experience in React, C#, Java Springboot development and API experience
6. Practical experience with MongoDB and Oracle database development,
7. Experience working with modern architectures (e.g. automation, cloud-based, microservices-based) in a DevOps environment is highly desirable
8. Fully understand HSBC systems landscape and their functional model, especially group systems
