We are looking for a Biology Teacher for an international school located in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

This international educational institution is located in Chaoyang District of Beijing. It has top-notch facilities, including a sports arena suitable for tournaments, arts classrooms, science labs equipped with the latest technology and an 800-seat theater. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and the IB (International Baccalaureate) Philosophy to its students in elementary, middle and high school. This blend of curricula provides a strong foundation of subject knowledge and cultivates learning abilities and thinking skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of biology to secondary school students utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
  • Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary of 26,000 to 32,000 RMB before tax depending on experience and qualifications
