Fiberglass FRP Specialist – Production

As a Fiberglass FRP Specialist, you oversee fiberglass-reinforced plastic production on the automotive manufacturing line in Lianyungang, China. This hands-on role includes supervising hand lay-up, spray-up, and compression molding processes, ensuring quality control, and driving lean manufacturing improvements. You work closely with engineering and production teams and split your time 80% on the shop floor and 20% in the office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resin mixing, curing cycles, demolding and mold release procedures

• Perform in-process inspections and NDT (tap testing, ultrasonic)

• Manage raw material inventory and maintain tools and equipment

• Create work instructions, apply poka-yoke solutions and lean practices

• Train workers on FRP safety (VOCs, PPE) and maintain GB compliance

• Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, customer specs and OEM requirements

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in Materials, Chemical or Composite Engineering

• 3+ years hands-on FRP production experience

• Strong understanding of composite processes (lay-up, molding, curing)

• Fluent in English and Mandarin (including technical terminology)

• Knowledge of IATF, SPC, and GB chemical safety standards
