R&D Manager
Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during new product quotation phase: Design proposal confirmation and presentation; material solution evaluation; process solution support.
• Manage fixed-point projects: Control project timelines, manage customer change requests, oversee technical solution implementation.
• Conduct R&D, design, and validation studies on new materials and technologies aligned with company strategic development direction.
• Oversee experimental research for new R&D projects, from validating test procedures, standards, methodologies, and reporting to production implementation.
• Lead talent development and performance management, unlocking employee potential by creating development plans and strategic work objectives for subordinates, while coaching them to achieve goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Materials Science, Textiles, or Nonwoven Fabrics.
• At least 5 years of team management experience and 5+ years of development/quality-related experience.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills with the ability to drive projects efficiently under pressure.
• Strong Chinese and English communication skills, with English proficiency sufficient for workplace communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, CATIA, and similar software.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and relevant laws/regulations; familiarity with industry suppliers, new materials, and project management.
• Demonstrated strong comprehension, execution, communication, leadership, judgment, decision-making, and time management capabilities.
