About BASIS International School Shenzhen 

BASIS International School Shenzhen opened in 2015 and was the very first school in our network. Originally located in a renovated previous structure, in 2023 the school moved into its beautiful new campus, with the ability to accommodate over 1,600 students in Grades Pre-K – 12 and state-of-the-art facilities for performing and visual arts, athletics, and sciences, in addition to stunning outdoor spaces and gardens. From middle school onwards, our students engage in advanced coursework, setting high expectations while establishing a solid foundation in core subjects, revisiting and reinforcing concepts in greater depth each year to prepare for entry into honors and Advanced Placement levels starting in ninth grade. 

As a Physics teacher, you build upon this strong foundation, teaching topics such as Newtonian mechanics, work, energy, mechanical waves and sound, and introductory, simple circuits. You incorporate student-guided labs to give students hands-on experience and enhance understanding.

Who We're Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in your subject area.
• Experience: At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a working visa.
