Position Summary
Works with suppliers to ensure equipment/tooling/ fixture is delivered on time;

Make sure tooling meet all specifications with good quality,including within budget;

Responsible for improvement of fixtures and processes;

Drive development of strategic supplier panel in China to support global business.

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Develop procurement strategy and establish costmodel for fixtures;
  • Active management of supplir portfolio, aligned cross-functional;
  • Effectively negotiate with supplier to get reasonable cost for all tooling;
  • Track the fixture development process and write the report to share the fixture development status with the global tooling team.
  • Solve the problem during fixture development.
  • Do fixture inspection for buy off according to the fixture acceptance checking list and write the inspection report.
  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM) compliance;
  • Provide assistance to the fixture export;
  • Ensure fixtures are delivered on time and consistent with Shape build requirements;
  • Maintain good working relationship with suppliers, production team and program team;
  • Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.
