Marketing Coordinator

The Tianjin Juilliard School seeks a Marketing Coordinator to bring Juilliard's mission to a global audience by expanding the school's brand presence in China and beyond. A storyteller at heart, this individual will be a key member of the marketing team, partnering with departments internally to create and maintain our digital assets in support of institutional marketing goals including brand awareness, education, recruitment, and more. 

This Tianjin-based position is responsible for maintaining operational and production workflows that support Tianjin Juilliard's Marketing team as they deliver high-quality creative projects within established timelines. This role supports a wide range of marketing goals, including print and digital campaigns for recruitment, performances, special events, among others. This individual should bring a passion for building cultural understanding through nuanced intercultural communications and represent the school's vision and values. Consistent communication and collaboration with colleagues from both New York and Tianjin campuses will be critical to the success of this position.

Responsibilities: 

• Support the Marketing team by coordinating and maintaining project workflows using project management tools (such as Asana, Planner, etc.).
• Assist in developing detailed project plans and timelines, including identifying internal teams involved, gathering inputs from internal teams, , tracking timelines and approvals, and help support projects towards completion. 
• Coordinate in creating project timelines and follow up on deliverables for Marketing projects, including design, video, editorial and more aspects
• Serve as a liaison between the Marketing department and other departments 
• Support content creation work including editorial writing, website content, and social media 
• Assist with coordination of photo shoots, including managing photographers, releases and participants
• Organize photography assets and maintain the photo gallery together with the Graphic Designer
• Supporting the marketing team to develop and deliver reports on a regular basis 
• Assist in scheduling meetings, contract and procurement processes, tracking payment requests, handling materials, and other administrative tasks assigned

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, English or related major
• Must have at least 1-2 years of working experience in a marketing-related field
• Working experience with social media and websites preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using programs such as Asana, Planner, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) would be a plus
• Experience working on editorial projects and has a passion for content creation 
• Very well-organized and extremely detail-oriented with an open and collaborative style 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Able to work well with employees at all levels and collaborate across teams
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual ((English and Mandarin); Strong written and oral communication skills 
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for the arts and education would be a plus
