  • Interface to customer.
  • Supplier management.
  • Profound knowledge of simultaneous development processes in the automotive industry
  • With the request of group leader or project responsible, lead SE-team to execute & fulfill the work package/module/system independently
  • Ensure system deliverable meet customer and MSC quality requirement.
  • Ensure system timing (develop timing and manufacture timing) meeting project timing requirement.
  • Report Project status to project and exterior department.
  • Exterior lighting styling feasibility check and management supplier development.
  • Create/Check/tracking the system timing according to master timing.
  • Lead the engineering regular meeting and topical meeting.
  • Homologation check.
  • Visual BOM create and check.
  • Master sections define and check.
  • Technical documents (SSTS, SOR, etc.) define and update according to project requirement.
  • Benchmarking and compare report define according to project requirement.
  • Launch build support and issue solving.
  • Prepare milestone deliverables.
  • Other requirements from project and department.
  • Lead department technical accumulation and improvement.
  • Coach new team members to get them integrated into the organization. Qualification
  • Experienced designer, 8+ years preferred (5+ years minimum)
  • Good experience on the Exterior lighting systems, with work experience in China OEM or supplier preferred.
  • Experienced at least 2 of following parts as minimum: headlamp, rear lamp
  • Relative knowledge on other system such as Body, trim, CV, chassis, EE etc.
  • Be proficient in CATIA software, Proficient in CATIA modeling of lighting.
  • Ability to be self starter, seeking help as needed.
  • Could be suitable for business trip for project.
  • Good communication ability both in mandarin and English.
  • Open mind and teamwork with people from different cultures.
