Join EPAM China as an
Application Support Engineer
in Chengdu. You will maintain and support critical applications, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot issues across environments. Collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver reliable solutions and optimize system performance — growing your skills in a dynamic team.

Primary Skills:

  • PostgreSQL Database Management
  • Docker And Kubernetes Orchestration
  • Linux System Administration

Responsibilities

  • Address issues and problems detected by monitoring systems and/or reported by internal or external users
  • Monitor application performance and proactively resolve issues
  • Automate routine tasks through scripting and tools
  • Perform root cause analysis and postmortems then apply changes as needed
  • Manage project documentation and runbooks

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in software application support
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL including installation configuration and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of Linux administration
  • Familiarity with application monitoring tools and log analysis
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with fluent English in speaking and writing
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science Software Engineering or related fields
