Senior System Engineer-Taicang

MISSION

Lead system team within a project in the correct design of a complex system following the SPICE rules and leading Product Realization Proposals, System Specifications, Product Architectures, design reviews, test plans, integration plans, etc., in collaboration with senior technical staff and Customers.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Summarize all the customers system requirements and international STD related to the product.
• Define Product Realization Proposals, System Specifications, Product Architectures, design reviews, test plans, integration plans, etc., in collaboration with senior technical staff and Customers.
• Guide and oversee the development of system component requirements, interfaces, and specifications necessary to maintain the consistency and integrity of the product developments.

• Lead Product Realization Proposals, System Specifications, Product Architectures, design reviews, in collaboration with senior technical staff and Customers.
• Work with peers and Engineering Teams to develop detailed product design specifications and drive implementation.
• Supports the definition of the product architectures (system architecture) for related mecatronic products according to international Standards and customer requirements or the engineering strategy of Ficosa assuring Safety and Reliability specs compliance.
• Supervise Hardware-Software-Mechanical integration as well as the related HW-SW-Mechanical integration test according V-model design process, for ensuring a proper system design.
• Coordinate with the Technical Project Lead for timing, costs, process deployment and FDS fulfillment system KPIs reporting.
• Responsible of FDS Workbook maintenance through product lifetime.
• Work with peers and Engineering Teams to develop detailed product design specifications and drive implementation.
• Support the TPL into the technical risk assessment (management with the Ficosa High Impacts).
• Align product needs with product Roadmap of Ficosa, helping in the maintenance and update of product design handbook
• Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
• Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background:  
Bachelor's degree, mainly engineering, electronics, telecommunications or IT

Languages:  
Fluent local language & Fluent English (written and spoken)

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in engineering development

Travel:
Willing to travel

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training:

Knowledge in patents, R&D Tools, High Voltage, Functional Safety (ISO26262) & Reliability, Technical lead or knowledge "V" product development would be of additional value

Additional experience:
Experience in SPICE BASED DEVICED would be of additional value

Additional languages:
Another language, according to the project/business, would be of additional value
