Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal research and development, operation and project management team to cope with customers' requirements. Deliver scientific, reasonable and smart solutions to satisfy customers' needs. In the meantime, deliver on-time project milestones to guarantee successful customer projects.
  • Continuously input new ideas for the contribution of new business by literature survey, personal experience, business resources and relationships. Said new ideas include leveraging existing materials to explore their value in filtration business, inventing new processes to increase current products' performances, working with institutions/facilities/universities to absorb emerging cutting-edge materials/technology to further strengthen power, etc.
  • Work with sales forces to listen to customers' voices, understanding customers' needs in a scientific and fundamental way to facilitate faster and smoother project kick-off internally. Educate customers to understand research and development trend better, able to help sales force to guide the customers' opinion to accept our proposal and solutions.
  • Based on the candidate's profound understanding of engineering, alongside product design concept, he/she is able to identify the origin of quality issues with the help from operation teams. So, the customer complaints can be addressed timely. And other issues jeopardizing company business can be prevented.
  • Work with oversea teams, e.g. German Headquarters, regional subsidiaries, to serve foreign customers with efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years relevant experience in a comparable role, with specialised knowledge in filtration, separation or catalysis.
  • Foundational technical project management capabilities, having successfully led at least one new product introduction or commercialisation initiative.
  • Demonstrated habit of gathering cutting-edge industry intelligence within filtration, coupled with an open mindset towards cross-disciplinary learning.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficient English language ability.
