We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Chief Commercial Officer Tech

Principal responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end delivery (design, build, test, release, operate) for assigned products/services.
  • Produce clean, secure, maintainable code across front end, middleware, and backend.
  • Define and evolve technical architecture; contribute to solution design reviews.
  • Implement and extend automated CI/CD pipelines and test suites (unit, integration, performance).
  • Instrument applications for observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product, architects, designers, QA, and ops to refine requirements and priorities.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentoring, technical guidance for mid/junior engineers.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues; drive root cause analysis and prevention.
  • Champion engineering standards (security, performance, accessibility, compliance).
  • Contribute to refactoring, modernization (e.g. legacy to modular/federated or cloud-native patterns).

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Strong full‑stack capability (e.g. React/TypeScript or similar UI + API/services + data layer).
  • Proven experience designing scalable, secure service architectures (REST/GraphQL/event-driven).
  • Solid mastery of testing practices (TDD/automation) and CI/CD tooling.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Java, Python, , Go) and related frameworks.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Applied knowledge of security best practices (authN/authZ, secrets, OWASP, data protection).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to decompose complex requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments (scrum/kanban, iterative delivery).
  • Effective written and verbal communication; clear technical documentation.
  • Ownership mindset: prioritization, trade‑off decisions, delivery accountability.
  • Previous background in software development and banking systems
  • Good knowledge of software design patterns and software architecture principles
