Clinical Pharmacist

工作职责
General Statement of Duties:
Participating in morning medical report with physicians. Establish pharmacy record for inpatient patients and follow drug therapy. Assist physician in monitoring drug therapy's safety and efficacy.
Support staff pharmacists in resolving daily pharmacy issues, assist pharmacy manager in training and supervise staff pharmacist.

Primary Duties-
1) Establish and keep record of patient inpatient medication therapy.
2) Dispense medications to inpatient and day-surgery wards. Dispense discharge medications and provide medication information to discharging patients.
3) Evaluate and monitor patient medication therapy to ensure safety, and efficacy.
4) Identify potential drug related problems and report adverse drug reactions.
5) Provide drug information to medical staff and nursing staff.
6) Training nursing staff in correct drug administration.
7) Perform monthly floor stock inspections and educate both medical and nursing staff in following and adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures, and local pharmacy laws.

Other Duties Performed-

1) Participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee
2) Cross check prescriptions orders filled by staff pharmacists.
3) Interact with physician in solving medication related problems and issues.
4) Assist pharmacy manager in supervising daily pharmacy operation to ensure regulatory compliance.
5) Responsible for special projects as requested by pharmacy manager

Performance Requirements:
1.Knowledge Skills and Abilities-
Be able to perform the above duties independently
Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
Self-motivated, energetic, and excellent customer service attitude.
Knowledge of government laws pertaining to drugs, narcotics and pharmacy practice.
Strong clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge.
Able to resolve pharmacy related problems and issues.

2.Minimum Education Requirement-
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy or university.

3.Minimum Experience Requirement-
2 to 5 years work experience in a pharmacy (community or hospital) setting.

4. Certificate or Licensing Needed -
Pharmacist License
