Your Role: Own the Challenge/Take on the Journey
- Take overall responsibility for leading the implementation of customer projects in good co-operation with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the successful execution/delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget as per Contract Agreement with customer satisfaction.
- Plan, monitor and control the project activities as per contract agreement and proactively to optimize overall resource planning and utilization. Identify all stakeholders in the projects and assure & seek to improve customer satisfaction.Control Project cost, cash flow and timely follow up invoice & payment collection. Understands project specific accepted terms and conditions and their application to project contracts, including awareness of risks of negative impact on margin, performance and risk factors.
- Reports status/ progress to customer and other stake holders with appropriate detail for desired understanding.Utilize negotiation skills for scope and change management.Identify and mitigate risks associated with the projects.Work actively with a number of suppliers to obtain overall best possible purchase, in cooperation with the supply management function.Clearly define, document and communicate project roles & responsibilities. Periodically conduct project review and resolve resource conflicts with line management.
- Ensuring that the project is executed in accordance with ABB Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, as well as regulations. Quality Management includes creating quality plan and following procedures to ensure that a project meets the customer requirement. Make commissioning schedule with site manager and customer. Coordinate with site manager for internal or external resource, damage parts handling, technical change management and HSE etc. at customer site.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
- Major in electrical, automation or other relevant industrial engineering, Bachelor or Above.
- 5 years of work experience from project business and international business work experience.
- Marine & Offshore business knowledge is valuable.Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit.Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills as well as ability to work under pressure.
- Strong sense of responsibility.Good oral English and write.
