Your Responsibility

Project Execution & Management
(60%)

l Identify business opportunity and conduct preliminary evaluation and due diligence using primarily China based resource and network

lSupport the development team in business planning, budgeting and execution

lSupport, monitoring and coordinate across functions as well as relevant external stakeholders to achieve the delivery/completion of annual critical project/s or assignment as defined by IPD leadership

lLead/Support commercial structing, documentation negotiation and closing for new business

l Contribute to the preparation of internal project proposals, investment memos, and management presentations

lCoordinate and facilitate partnership process, including monitoring and communication with potential partners/3rd party advisers as well as internal cross functions

Strategic Analysis & Solution Provision
(40%)

lAnalyze complex project challenges and develop well-studied solution, options analysis and decision frameworks for management

lPropose innovative ideas for optimizing project value, reducing costs, mitigating risks, and improving development processes in diverse international markets

l Work closely with research team to present market intelligence for strategic decision-making

lFacilitate strategic workshops and meetings, ensuring focused discussions and clear outcome-oriented action plans

Our Requirements

  1. At least a bachelor's degree in engineering or science or a related field from a reputable university
  2. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the relevant field
  3. Fluent English in written and communication
  4. Comprehensive understanding and experience in project full cycle dynamics
  5. Strategic thinking and careful/detailed quality control
  6. Timely communicate/advise/suggest to senior management on potential risks and issues
  7. Anticipate potential issues, business and/or organization and proactively look for solutions
  8. Take organizational interest as priority, take initiative measures, willing to assist and help even if the tasks are outside pre-defined work scope

Preferred

  1. Formal qualifications in project management (e.g. PMP) or finance (e.g. CFA, CA)
  2. Strong engineering or technical background from power sector
  3. Multilingual (e.g. Spanish)
