We are looking for an AP English Teacher for an international school in Wuhan. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

A well-established K-12 private school located in Tianjin, China, offering a full range of education from kindergarten through high school across multiple campuses. The school features a variety of international programs, including Cambridge A-Level, Canadian OSSD, and U.S. AP courses. It serves both domestic and international students and is supported by a team of over 740 educators, including more than 50 experienced expatriate teachers.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of English to high school students utilizing AP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
  • Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary is 18,000 to 27,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance is 4,000 to 5,000 RMB or free accommodating
