Field Service Engineer

What we are looking for

The Service Team at Nova China is looking for a Service Engineer to provide product support at Nova customers.

In this role you'll be joining the Global Service Group at Nova. We provide service to a large-scale install base, at leading semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. Responsible for training, installing, and supporting all Nova products at customer sites worldwide. We foster teamwork, excellence, and innovation, making customer success our main goal.

What you will be doing

• Installation of FMS, HPC.
• HW and infrastructure upgrades.
• SW FM/MARS/PMC/Nova FIT Upgrade.
• FRU.
• Preventing maintenance.
• Logs collection.
• Infrastructure Troubleshooting.
• Application logs Troubleshooting.
• Fast response to solve or find work arounds for critical issues raised by the field.
• Align between field and development team to overcome issues raised on install base tools.
• Train local T1 FSE with sustain activities of server's tools.

• High level capabilities of Verbal and written English.
• Ability of understand, search, and solve technical issues.
• Proactive personality.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Networking and computing technical experience- New [Based on experience] – Must.
• Experience with Microsoft infrastructure capabilities – Must.
• Servers and Cluster architecture knowledge – Must.
• SQL Data base management experience – Must.
• Storage Characterization – Must.
• Server installation/maintenance experience-Must.
• Kubernetes knowledge- New for Gen3 – Advantage.
• VMware experience – Advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in Linux programing – Advantage.
• Knowledge in Microsoft PowerShell scripting – Advantage.
• Cloudera manager – Advantage.
