We are hiring Enterprise Solutions Architects to work with top-tier Enterprise customers. Solutions Architects engage with customers to understand their business drivers, assess application portfolios, and design reliable and cost-effective cloud-native architectures. As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will partner with several AWS teams to create solutions that address business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

You should enjoy thinking strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business. The Solutions Architect is a technical role - you must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, data analytics, AI/ML) and deep in at least 2-3 of those areas. On the business side, the ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical for our customers' successful use of AWS. The Solutions Architect will spend most of their day interacting with several customer stakeholders, including Developers, Engineers, Directors, and CxOs.

Key job responsibilities
- In partnership with the Business Development team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
- As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (i.e Dev Days or Immersion Days)
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
- Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in large-scale system architecture design or application development of complex IT solutions.
- Knowledge of the latest technology trends in open-source, hybrid cloud / networking, containers, devops, security, data or Generative AI.
- In-depth working knowledge in one or more technology domains such as web or mobile applications, DevOps, Serverless / containers, Data & Analytics, machine learning or Generative AI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must (English / Cantonese / Mandarin)
- Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with IT professionals and business executives. Strong ability to work effectively and collaborate across internal and external organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing, building, refactoring or operating large scale and impactful IT projects - either on premises or in the cloud.
- Able to create technical content / sample codes that can be easily adopted and reusable by others.
- Experience working as a pre-sales, or a customer-facing role, or internal role that needs to deal with lots of stakeholders in a MNC / enterprises.
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certifications.
