About BASIS International School Shenzhen 

BASIS International School Shenzhen opened in 2015 and was the very first school in our network. Originally located in a renovated previous structure, in 2023 the school moved into its beautiful new campus, with the ability to accommodate over 1,600 students in Grades Pre-K – 12 and state-of-the-art facilities for performing and visual arts, athletics, and sciences, in addition to stunning outdoor spaces and gardens. As a Chemistry teacher, you build upon this strong foundation, focusing on the fundamentals of chemistry and scientific inquiry through exploration of the structure and properties of matter, organization of the periodic table, and laboratory skills. This includes covering topics such as chemical bonding, conservation of matter, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, and atomic structure. You incorporate student-guided lab experiences to further enhance student understanding.

• Guide students in pursuing academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellect

Who We're Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in your subject area.
• Experience: At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a working visa.
