Product Development Manager

Purpose of Position
- CASETiFY is one of the leading global lifestyle brands to offer customizable tech accessories. We're industry leaders when it comes to trend forecasting and protecting what matters most; the community platform for creativity and self-expression.
- The successful candidate will be involved in the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring newly developed products meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within target cost. The ideal candidate should be a strong individual contributor with experience and exposure in cross-functional teams' communication.
Job Description
- Collaborates with the Product Management Team in developing new product/project proposals.
- Product Design and Specifications: Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop product design concepts and specifications that meet customer requirements and align with manufacturing capabilities.
- Materials Selection: Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams to identify and select appropriate materials for 3C products based on performance, cost, and quality requirements. Evaluate material samples and conduct testing to ensure compatibility and adherence to specifications.
- Managing the product development/production process by liaising with manufacturers, vendors and internal teams to ensure product timeline, product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Supplier Management: Work closely with the Sourcing Team to evaluate, select, develop, and manage supplier performance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards pertaining to 3C products. Ensure that products comply with applicable regulations and certifications.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA Team to develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that 3C products meet established standards and customer expectations. Cooperate with QC Team to conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
Requirement
- Degree Holder in Engineering, Trading or relevant disciplines
- At least 10 years relevant experience in Product Development or Sourcing for 3C category
- Extensive experience in product development and manufacturing in the 3C industry, with a strong understanding of Power Banks, Cables, Chargers and related products
- Strong in negotiation and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques for 3C products, including injection molding, sampling, PCB assembly, and final assembly.
- High commitment in deliverable quality and punctuality
- Ability to handle multi-task, target-oriented,
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines required
- Detail-minded, strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent in communicating with different levels within the organization
- Good command in both oral and written English and Cantonese
