Bank - Senior Officer, Wealth Management Operations

About you:

What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:

• Trade Order Management & Settlement: Monitor and manage trade orders for HK stocks and US Stock ensuring accurate and timely settlement. This includes monitoring fails and following up on trade breaks.
• Corporate Actions: Process corporate actions (dividends, distributions, splits, mergers, rights issues, etc.) ensuring accurate position record and timely distribution.
  
• Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of trade activity, cash and position balances, broker statements, and internal records across all asset classes. Identify and escalate any discrepancies to the supervisor for investigation and resolution.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of operational services and present suggestions to the supervisor.
• Project Support & Testing: Provide support for ad-hoc projects and assist in conducting testing on various system enhancements related to wealth management operations.
  
• Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all operational activities.
  

What is required and what we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in securities trading.
• Experience in multiple areas (securities, virtual asset, margin financing) is highly desirable.
• Understanding market settlement practices and margin financing is advantageous.
• Well-versed with Bloomberg, CMU, CCASS and other settlement systems.
• Good knowledge on rules and regulations of SFC and Stock Exchange of Hong Kong
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and organizational skills, with strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
