The Equipment Technology and Services (ET&S) business for Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an experienced Commercial Leader for China based in Shanghai, focusing on the John Zink combustion business and the Koch Glitch mass transfer business. The successful candidate will lead the front end engineered equipment commercial teams, implementing strategies to create value across the entire portfolio and driving integrated product teams to continuously improve P&L performance. We are looking for a candidate who will work in mutually beneficial ways to drive results and is comfortable challenging the status quo. The candidate will apply to Koch's Principle Based Management (PBM) philosophy to develop a results-oriented team that achieves results through economic thinking, innovation, and collaboration.

What You Will Do
- Lead the commercial teams for the John Zink combustion business and the Koch Glitch mass transfer business in China.
- Implement strategies to create value across the entire portfolio and drive integrated product teams to continuously improve P&L performance.
- Develop and lead strategies to grow profitable sales in the combustion and mass transfer markets.
- Develop and lead Key Account Management strategies to continuously improve customer retention and increase our market share
- Maximize value creation by deploying capabilities in China toward the best opportunities to create mutual benefit.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Advance a culture where contribution-motivated employees increasingly self-actualize by aligning each employee's abilities and interests with value-creating opportunities consistent with the business vision.
- Foster partnerships between customers and the internal product development, manufacturing, and management teams.
- Develop positive working relationships with all internal business stakeholders, teams, and functional leaders within China and other APAC countries
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Demonstrated capability to implement go to market and sales strategies in China
- Demonstrated capability in China to effectively construct mutually beneficial relationships – assessment of customer needs, intelligence gathering, bid development and strong economic thinking
- Proven leadership capability in China inclusive of building an effective commercial team, successful change management, talent development and accountability
- Demonstrated passion for ideation and innovation, managing complex situations, instilling collaboration and motivating others by creating a shared vision.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and understand complex technical and program
- Fluency with Mandarin Language and English
- Preferably currently living and working in Shanghai, China
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with China and international commercial/business leadership and/or business development
- Experience successfully leading a diverse team, working through complex problems to generate superior results
- Experience working in the Oil & Gas and/or Chemicals/Petrochemicals industry
- Experience developing leaders in a Principle Based Management (PBM) environment
