• Develop and implement the overall program management strategy for NPIs and Project Transfers.
• Lead and manage the entire global project team, including internal resource allocation and workload planning.
• Oversee all aspects of project management, including objectives, timeline, quality, risks, and costs, ensuring timely monitoring and intervention.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans and define goals for team members; monitor implementation and make timely adjustments to ensure on-schedule completion. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
• Act as the primary liaison between cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on both project and corporate goals.
• Coordinate with all relevant internal departments, reporting project status to senior management (e.g., General Manager) to secure necessary resource support.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for all NPI and Project Transfer matters, resolving discrepancies and removing obstacles.
• Enhance communication channels internally and externally, providing a clear front-end interface to customers on project progress and issues. Team Management & Development
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of project managers across all global sites.
• Hold team members accountable for defined project milestones and deliverables.
• Guide, mentor, and assess the performance of project team members throughout project execution.
• Foster a collaborative and respected working environment across all departments and sites. Process & Quality Assurance
• Ensure all projects adhere to relevant Quality Management System standards (e.g., IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO
• Manage project documentation and drive process improvements.
• Track all action items, both internal and customer-driven, through to completion.
• Utilize key program management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, Jira) to manage project activities, dependencies, and outputs. Customer & Business Value
• Support Senior Account Managers in demonstrating internal technical capabilities to customers and driving value-added technical enhancements.
• Analyze technical components of new projects (e.g., product drawing, BOM) to identify opportunities for cost savings and provide feedback for pricing adjustments. Qualifications & Work Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering. A master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Program Management capacity, within the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Proven, significant experience in launching and managing New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Must be a technical expert in a relevant area and deeply familiar with electronic manufacturing operations.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams via email, phone, and in-person.
• Expert proficiency in program management tools such as Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, and Jira.
• Strong document/process discipline and a thorough understanding of relevant industry standards (ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO13485).
• Ability to work effectively and command respect across different departments and cultures. Training Requirements The successful candidate will undergo company-specific training, which includes but is not limited to: company management systems, departmental operations, account management basics, contract review procedures, customer satisfaction surveys, project follow-up/order processing, ERP system operation, and the relevant quality management system standards.
