  • Network Operations & Project Support

    • Serve as the primary liaison for all network-related operations and initiatives across China within the GEUS BTP team.

    • Conduct initial analysis of technical issues to determine if they are network-related; escalate to the global network team when necessary and ensure timely follow-up until resolution.

    • Maintain strong collaboration with the network team through regular review meetings and dedicated communication channels.

    • Proactively identify potential network risks through daily operations and network performance reports; coordinate with the network team to implement preventive or corrective actions to ensure business continuity.

    • Provide on-site support for network team-led projects and coordinate the local smart hands resource.

    • Partner with Global Workplace Enterprise Services (GWES) in support of their network optimization activities - opening, closing and consolidation of offices and facilities.

  • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)

    • Act as the HAM liaison for GEUS BTP China, overseeing all hardware asset management activities across China.

    • Ensure full compliance with global HAM policies and standards, including hardware brand, model, and lifecycle requirements.

    • Collaborate actively with the global HAM team to support strategic initiatives and maintain 100% hardware compliance.

    • Attend/facilitate regular review meetings with the HAM team to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

  • General

    • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operation to achieve improved user experience. Optimize the work model and process for cost efficiency.

    • Manages spending and forecasts budget in regard to the operating expenses of related areas.

    • Create a culture of innovation and while focusing on Operational Excellence.

Education level:

  • Education: BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience

Experience/Technical Skills:

  • At least 10 years of relevant network and IT asset management under MNC infrastructure environment

  • English/Chinese fluency expected, with excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills in both English/Chinese

  • Strong understanding of the network & HAM service and product catalogue and the roles & responsibilities attributed to IT departments wherein company operates

  • Strong understanding and practical experience in troubleshooting and driving resolution with working with across various IT domains.

  • Good knowledge of Agile principles and use in an Agile operation environment

  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and creative problem solving in response to position IT as a key business partner for supporting the business

  • Ability to work independently as self-directed, self-starting, and a strategy-to-execution leader

  • Sound knowledge with experience in operating and leading effectively in a matrix environment

  • Acts as a service/product management accountable person to ensure accountability towards the business whilst providing holistic products and services

  • Understand characteristics of the current IT environment, with a keen interest in identifying opportunities for improvement
