POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for driving the reliability performance of facility/utility equipment or systems

Specifically:

  • Develop a long-term vision and plan for Utilities equipment reliability performance improvement

  • Drive an integrated risk management approach for EHSS, Quality and technical reliability

  • Develop standards (work processes, methodologies, technology solutions) across the equipment lifecycle

  • Monitor and analyze the reliability performance, and drive root cause elimination

  • Coordinate across engineering, maintenance, and operations

  • Deep dive the existing technology & technology available on market based on CBM

  • Connect with E&PS Global/Regional SME for reliability program implementation in XJP.

  • Xi'an site deployment champion for FM Hard Service Transformation program.

  • To monthly track both hard and soft service spending of FM function, as well as the CIP achievement against the objectives preset.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Own, develop and deploy risk management at site/platform level, including

  • Base Business Capital Planning Process.

  • Shape and lead the reliability components in the Site Facility Equipment & System.

  • Risk assessment and risk mitigation methodologies (FMECA, HAZOP, RCM, …).

  • Integration of changes and new equipment into maintenance.

  • Corrective, Preventive, Condition Based, Predictive Maintenance Strategies.

  • Root Cause Problem Solving (RCP), Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review (FRACAS);

  • Spare parts analysis and review.

  • Work order management/classification index/maintenance approaches analysis and review.

  • Maintenance KPI summary

  • Unplanned shutdown analysis and review.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to reliability performance and risk management

  • Strong involvement in the design and hand-over of new Utilities equipment.

  • Strong involvement in the development of engineering standards for equipment.

  • Strong involvement in conducting equipment performance reviews.

  • Strong involvement in root cause analysis on critical production installations.

  • Continuous monitoring of new developments in the field of professional maintenance.

  • Monitoring, evaluating, and piloting new technologies to support the reliability targets.

  • Lead execution of site and/or cross-site and strategic reliability projects and initiatives in the platform.

  • China Campus SME PdM/MFF.

  • Strong involvement in Global MFF team

Take up process ownership and drive continuous improvement

  • Monitoring of work process performance as well as Facility/Utility equipment/system reliability performance.

  • Identifying and scoping opportunities for improvement, and follow-through on realization.

  • Overseeing cross-plant optimization.

  • Acting as formal spokesperson during internal and external audits.

  • Keep senior management informed on reliability performance through reports program status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project and program status, tests, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis.
