The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of 40 high-performing marketing and communications professionals, working across ten countries to deliver thought leadership, strengthen brand reputation, and accelerate growth.

As Head of Regional Communications China, you will steer our integrated communications and marketing strategy across Greater China, ensuring our message resonates with clarity and impact in a complex and fast-evolving environment. Reporting to the Global Head of Regional Communications & Brand in Hamburg, Germany, you will be based in our Shanghai office and lead a small, agile team of two Communications Managers. This position demands a visionary leader who combines strategic insight with hands-on execution, capable of amplifying DNV Maritime's voice as a trusted thought leader and advancing our strategic ambitions for customer-centricity, innovation and growth.

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute a long-term integrated communication strategy for Greater China, aligning with the global vision.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and a culture of innovation.
  • Act as the strategic bridge between global initiatives and local execution, ensuring seamless integration of tools, platforms, and campaigns.

  • Champion a digital-first approach, leveraging marketing automation and analytics to scale local initiatives globally.
  • Define and track performance metrics for the Communications Hub, ensuring objectives are met and success is quantifiable.
  • Spearhead regional and global communications projects and campaigns, managing them end-to-end from conception to execution with precision and creativity.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Regional Management and Business Development teams on all communications matters.
  • Coordinate and elevate the presence at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Safeguard brand integrity and consistency across all communication channels.
