Responsibilities:

1. Develop suitable supplier base for the assigned components according to MAHLE related procedures and regulations.
2. Cooperation, alignment, make the proposal with project purchasing, purchasing quality and get the proposal approved.
3. Assist and define commodity strategy with other regions CB and global LB from the input of user department and customer demands, continue to optimize the strategy.
4. Fulfill annual price negotiation based on contractual status and top-down yearly reduction target and contract with the suppliers.
5. Capacity planning, strategy meeting with key suppliers, and continue optimizing the supplier base and increasing the localization rate, to achieve cost benefit.
6. Contracting with the suppliers based on MAHLE standard requests.
7. Complete purchasing job in various PUR IT tool, i.e. SAP, P4T, etc.
8. Supplier risk assessment and mitigation.
9. Deal with all supplier escalation in terms of commercial topics.
10. Other tasks are specified by direct leader.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, commercial or business background is preferred.
• Good communication skills, negotiation skills and fair interpersonal relationships.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• Be familiar with high-pressure aluminum casting, iron casting process is preferred.
• Proactive and structured work; good team worker.
