The Senior Manager, Data Services China will lead a team of engineers to plan, build, and operate data and reporting platforms and services. This role is part of the Global Data Services team and supports the China region's data product delivery teams. The manager will provide technological and process expertise, assisting business partners in identifying and implementing cost-effective data and analytic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data warehouse and visualization engineers, ETL developers, and testers.

• Recruit, retain, and grow talent with a focus on technical excellence.

• Develop strategic plans and technical roadmaps for data and analytics platforms in China.

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand data needs and design solutions.

• Drive digital transformation and AI initiatives and modernize analytics and AI capabilities.

• Maintain and modernize data and BI solutions to meet local business needs.

• Ensure database design and implementation align with data architecture principles.

• Follow data governance processes to maintain data integrity and security.

• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.

• Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools.

• Foster a collaborative work environment with internal and external partners.

Key Experiences & Attributes:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a relevant field.

• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Synapse).

• 5+ years of experience managing visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Qlik).

• 10+ years of experience working with business users to define data requirements and drive implementation.

• 5+ years of development experience and people leadership in the data domain.

• Experience designing and developing AI solutions will be a plus

• Experience in a global matrix environment.

• Strong team-building and talent management skills.

• Strategic, innovative problem solver with strong communication skills.

• Knowledge of business process flow and entity relationship modeling.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
