Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, and in person
- Perform remote troubleshooting on Windows 11 and other devices using diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Guide users through the problem-solving process and provide support for O365 services (e.g., Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and various enterprise applications.
- Handle and initially resolve basic endpoint security and virus protection issues utilizing Microsoft Defender tools.
- Direct unresolved issues accurately and timely to the next level of support personnel and track them to resolution.
- Record events, problems, and their resolution in logs or the ticketing system meticulously.
- Provide support and possess basic knowledge regarding the procurement process for company IT assets (both hardware and software).
- Proactively identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures, tools, or service processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Assist with device deployment and management tasks related to Microsoft Autopilot and Intune.
Qualification
- 1-3 years of industry experience in handling end-user support (PC/Laptop/Mobile Devices, etc.).
- Solid desk-side and remote troubleshooting experience, especially with the Windows10/Windows 11 operating system.
- Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems and application software (e.g., Microsoft O365 suite, browsers, PDF readers, etc.).
- Familiarity with and ability to perform routine management and basic troubleshooting of Microsoft Defender.
- Basic understanding of Azure concepts to handle user accounts, permissions, and related cloud service issues.
- Familiarity with and ability to support the use of MS Authenticator (MFA), VPN connectivity, and associated security tools.
- Possess fundamental network knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi connectivity) and experience managing network printers.
- Basic experience or a strong willingness to learn and use Microsoft Autopilot and Intune for device deployment and endpoint management.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-oriented mindset, maintaining a cool-tempered approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive in taking responsibility, and comfortable working independently with a remote manager.
- Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant field, or comparable demonstrated work experience and skills.
- (Plus) Good command of the English language (written and verbal) is preferred.
