Job Overview
The Mechanic role performs troubleshoot, repair mechanical equipment and systems, carry out layout plans. Ensures that equipment and machines are kept in good condition and operate smoothly. And contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to environmental, health, and safety responsibilities and ensure policies, procedures, and legal requirements are effectively implemented.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and ensure compliance with quality management systems and related requirements.
• Responsible for daily inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment, reducing equipment failure rates and minimizing downtime caused by equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to the plan.
• Reasonably use and store relevant spare parts and maintenance tools.
• Install, operate, and debug newly purchased equipment according to the task plan.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned

Key Skills & Competencies

• Mechanical Maintenance Skills: Strong skills in inspection, repair, and adjustment of machining equipment (e.g., milling, turning, grinding).
• Electrical Knowledge: Valid electrician certification and hands-on electrical maintenance experience.
• Preventive Maintenance Execution: Able to execute structured preventive maintenance plans.
• Computer Proficiency: Capable of basic document handling and data entry using Office software.
• Technical Reading Ability: Able to read and understand basic English technical maintenance documents.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, with good skills in fitter operation
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience maintaining general milling, lathe, grinding, or similar machinery
• Hands-on mechanical fitting skills required
• Possess electrician certification and electrical maintenance experience
• Use Office software for simple word processing and form filling
• Languages: Basic English reading and communication preferred

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Work Environment: On-site at the Wuxi manufacturing plant, primarily on the shop floor.
• Experience: Requires ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Adapt to shift work and conduct equipment repairs as needed at any time.
• Lifting Requirements: Occasional lifting of tools and machine parts as needed.
