What You Will Do

  • Leading a team of professional project managers in Shanghai
  • Implementing state-of-the-art project management techniques and driving the R&D organisation to meet ambitious time-to-market targets while delivering best-in-class products
  • Accountable for implementing a standardised and effective project management process in our Project Managers Team in Shanghai
  • Accountable for recruitment, appraisal, coaching & development, and assignments of direct reports
  • Accountable to provide project management know how to their own team, provide problem-solving expertise, manage conflicting requirements and step in to solve critical situations in R&D projects
  • Accountable for the definition of required partners, tools & resources in the field of project management to execute product roadmaps
  • Responsible to grow and develop project management competence within our Project Managers Team in Shanghai

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's / Master's typically in Electrical Engineering, ideally in Semiconductor Device Physics or Technology, and/or Microelectronics
  • Min. 10 years of experience in leading complex international projects / Team Lead within a technical semiconductor business environment
  • Very good knowledge of state-of-the-art project management tools and their application
  • Proven leadership qualities in building & leading project teams and building stakeholder relations in a global, intercultural environment
  • Proven capability to lead a team of project managers
  • Strong communication (English, Mandarin) and networking skills
  • Strong customer orientation, structured problem solver, goal-oriented leader, and people coach
