We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school in Qingdao. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Located in Qingdaos Chengyang District, this private boarding school offers a bilingual education that combines the Chinese national curriculum with British IGCSE and A-Level programs. With around 800 students and a diverse faculty, the school emphasizes academic excellence, holistic development, and global university preparation through a strong blend of academics, arts, and extracurricular activities.
Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of English to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
  • Good understanding of teaching in British curriculum context

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
