Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain features for our e-commerce marketplace platform.
Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Develop and maintain Python-based or Golang-based services and microservices.
Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the platform’s components.
Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and technical discussions to improve team processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide maintenance and improvements to existing systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on backend development and e-commerce or similar platforms.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience working with APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Knowledge of web security best practices and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with e-commerce platforms, marketplace systems, or payment processing systems.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of performance optimization and scalability in distributed systems.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application design.
