We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a research project, "Trauma-informed training for social workers under mandatory reporting: A pilot feasibility randomised controlled trial in Hong Kong". The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
• conducting literature reviews on relevant topics;
• assisting with the recruitment and coordination of research participants;
• assisting with the preparation and delivery of the research intervention;
• assisting with quantitative and qualitative data collection;
• assisting with data management and quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis;
• preparing research materials and maintaining research records; and
• providing other research-related and administrative support as required. He/she will be normally assigned to work less than 68 hours per four consecutive weeks. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence:
• currently studying at a local university;
• preferably with an academic background or relevant experience/training in healthcare, social sciences, social work, psychology, or related disciplines;
• proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software would be an advantage;
• a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese);
• good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills;
• a responsible, detail-oriented, and self-motivated attitude; and
• the ability to work both independently under supervision and collaboratively as part of a research team.
